Bittersweet

Although change is inevitable, it's never easy.

I have recently accepted an incredible position to manage a new gym in Apex called Anytime Fitness. I am super excited about this opportunity. Its a decision I weighed heavily and prayed earnestly about, because it effects so many people.

It affects my family because of different hours and more responsibly. I have been working in a fairy tale world the last two years (something I am very grateful for), but now it's time to enter the "real" world again. I am looking forward to the challenges that come from managing and marketing, but it will take a lot more of my time. Luckily, I have the most wonderful husband in the world who supports me 100%!
It affects my friendships, mainly with Jen my "boss". I won't go into that, just pray for us. It's hard to mix friendship with business and then try to separate the two.
It affects my senior family. They are so excited for me, but sad to see me go. I will miss then so much. They carry so much wisdom and advice about life. I feel blessed to have them in my life.

So my days are bittersweet.
I feel like if I don't try, I will regret it.
And if I succeed, it's only because of Christ in my life.
