As I type this letter, you are kicking away in my belly and growing bigger and bigger. Over the last eight months, I have experienced a small taste of a mother's love for her child.
It's a sacrificial, unconditional love that you didn't do anything to deserve. It just happens. From the minute I knew you existed, I loved you. I didn't even know who you were and still have no idea what you will be like, but I am crazy about you. In spite of all the trials of pregnancy, I always knew you were worth every minute of it. I never took for granted the fact that through my sickness you were getting stronger and through my pain you were growing bigger.
I want you to know that I can love you this much because Jesus loves me more. I want you to know that He knows the exact day and time that you will enter my arms and He has picked you especially for me. His love for us knows no bounds and He has created you for a specific purpose. You have been planned since the beginning of time!
I dream about the day when I get to see your face and influence the person that you will become. Today, I celebrate who you are as my son and how honored I am to be your mom.
I love you!
Mommy
