My crazy life!

It has been awhile since I have posted a life update and so much has happened. Here is a quick glimpse into what we have been up to!

1) We had a baby reveal party a week ago and are happy to report a health baby Boy! Here are a few pictures of team pink and blue :)

2) We have official set down roots in Ohio and decided to build another house. We are super excited. We have a close date of May 19th, which gives us just enough time to get things ready for Anderson
3) Mike has been traveling a lot, but enjoying his job. I am so thankful for his hard work ethic and for God placing him in such a growing area.
4) I am feeling pretty good. I have been resting when I can and trying to stay healthy through good food and exercise. We are also believing in a healthy placenta (they said mine is very low) so I have been unable to lift heavy things, but everyone has been super helpful at carrying my laundry up and down for me :)
5) My hormones do sometimes get the best of me. I hate to chalk up emotions to hormones all the time, but sometimes the water works just don't turn off. I think the last week has been especially trying with Mike being gone more than half of the month so far. I started to doubt and worry, things that I constantly rebuke in my life, and through some much needed counsel and hugs from the hubby I am feeling much more balanced.
6) We have found a new community called Venue Church and love it! We have been so blessed by the relationships we are forming and the faith of Pastor Shawn and Faith. They inspire us to think big and believe in the greatness of God. I have also be given the chance to join the worship team playing keyboard and backup vocals. Mike has been given the role of greeter and has really enjoyed engaging with the men's group.
7) I am looking forward to visiting Raleigh in just a few short weeks! I am so excited to get some great time in with all my girlfriends and totally need the therapy from their presence. Hopefully, I can last that long :) I am still dealing with the transition, but God's grace is keeping my spirit's positive and his purpose for my life has never been more clear.

Enjoy your weekend! Thanks for sharing life with me!
